Brief Biodata:
MBA Marketing. First job at Tata Exports (Leather Division) in Jan’ 1988. After 5 years and the last but a brief stint at Tata HK, in Jan’ 1993 joined this start-up venture and moved to Chennai. Now settled in Chennai ever since and working with this company as employed professional. Have set-up factories and satellite offices in Europe (Spain & Italy) and running them successfully. Have been managing all of these independently as a profit center head. Have built a strong and committed team of professionals, extremely dedicated, sincere & honest. Widely traveled & exposed to the international fashion & retail – especially selling; to some of the best known brands in the international fashion biz. On the Social front, have been associated with an NGO back home at Bhopal – OASIS. Strongly believe that we as a nation are yet to achieve Freedom; Freedom from: Poverty, Poor & Corrupt Governance, Social Inequality & Injustice, Illiteracy, Unemployment, Rampant Corruption, etc. In my view, this freedom can only be achieved by: a) Clean and efficient Government, b) Clean, efficient & independent Judiciary, c) 100% Primary Education to all; This list is not the end of all that needs to be done but just the beginning, and in my view should form the top three priorities, that India needs to achieve.
